Calorx is a professionally managed autonomous institution focusing its activities on K-12 education since its inception in 1995. It believes in empowering children to succeed in all spheres of life. Each student is empowered to become an Academic Achiever, a Critical Thinker, and an Effective Communicator who interacts cooperatively as a socially responsible citizen in a multicultural and technical world. By exposing each student to a rigorous curriculum in a supportive academic setting, our students are ultimately prepared for college, the workplace and beyond. The school follows CBSE syllabus. Teaching methodology is very unique based on Calorx Taxonomy. The taxonomy is developed keeping in mind the CCE requirements as well as building strong foundation for futuristic requirements of a Calorxian.

CPS Philosophy


We believe that knowledge, synergistic knowledge, is power. In today’s collaborative culture, knowledge sharing is encouraged so that collective expertise can be put into context to benefit the society as a whole. With this principle in mind, we conducted a brainstorming session where eminent dignitaries from the education sector as well as other businesses were invited to share ideas, experiences, and insights which helped us evolve the CPS philosophy.

Needless to say, the session was productive and helped us determine the fundamental philosophy of Calorx Public School.

K-12 Taxonomy

The 4 Theories of Learning – Constructivism, Behaviorism, Cognitivism and Connectivism form the basis of Instructional delivery.

The theories are beautifully woven into the curricula with different approaches like- Conventional, Interdisciplinary, Active and Blended Learning.

Pre School ECFS Curriculum

ECFS curriculum is designed to fit into the Indian classroom environment with a global touch of curriculum. Mainly – EYFS. Our Curriculum is based upon the national Curriculum of England and is adapted to maximize opportunities which exist in India for an Indian child.

Message from Principal

Welcome to the new session!

“An investment in knowledge, pays a dividend of a lifetime” As we crest the Pandemic, its pertinent to flag the untiring efforts of the members of our Campus Community, who demonstrated exceptional optimism and care towards our fellow students; while we remained engaged with one another on Campus and via the use of technology, whenever apart. We all learned a great deal about how to live, work, and gain knowledge together during the pandemic, and I firmly believe that further refinements to our practices and protocols in the year ahead will translate into further smoother working environment. However, each story has two sides to it.

While phenomenal progress is being made in the domain of eLearning, the "Online Lessons" being implemented by Ministry of Education, Science, Culture & Sports, is allowing students to continue their learning 24x7 through online classes conducted by teachers using effective pedagogies. We, the teachers, also learned didactics from the best teachers. We all look forward to being able to get together again as in the past Pre-Pandemic ways, and as Students, Faculty, and Staff return from the break, we must remember to remain committed towards keeping the Campus safe by continuing to wear Masks and practice Social Distancing measures and Personal Hygiene. Looking ahead with optimism, we begin a new Chapter and plan the commencement of upcoming academic year 2021. We also appreciate and commend the investment made by many of you in our shared future through contributing your personal time, effort, and knowledge. As we move forward, in the coming months we seek your continued collaboration to accomplish the key goals via the strategies you have helped us develop.

The Pandemic has transformed the centuries-old, chalk–talk teaching model to one driven by technology. This disruption in the delivery of education has pushed policymakers to figure out how to drive engagement on a mass scale while ensuring inclusive e-learning solutions and tackling the digital divide. Needless to say, Year 2020 will long be remembered as one of the most arduous academic year in the history of education. Whatever lies ahead in the year to come, we will thrive together, and we stand in firm solidarity with our Learners, Parents, and all Stakeholders in education. I look forward to you all putting forward your individual best in our collective pursuit of excellence and am sanguine that as a community Kalorex, we will accomplish all that we strive for.
